Objectives:

1.  Emphasize that mountaineering is as excellent sports and cultural activity, one of
   the genuine rights of the people of Japan which are guaranteed under the constitution.

2.  Encourage the development of mountaineering in various forms.

3.  Develop and promote overseas expeditions

4.  Promote safety awareness and accident prevention

5.  Act for the conservation of the nature

Organization & Organization Chart: 700 clubs comprise 49 regional federations which form the National
Federation JWAF.
